Switching amplifier – Type 8586

Description

The type 8586 switching amplifier is used to supply and evaluate binary sensors (for example, the type 8433 temperature monitoring unit).

Function

The sensors that are connected at terminals 1 and 2 are supplied with power from the control circuit of the switching amplifier. The amount of quiescent current drawn by the sensor is a maximum of several hundred µA. The output relay of the switching amplifier is activated with a control current of > 10 mA.

Both mechanical and electronic contacts with a maximum residual voltage of 5 V can be handled at the switching amplifier. The control current circuit and the output current circuit is galvanically isolated from the supply voltage.

See the complete brochure folder for additional switching amplifiers also for supply voltages of DC 600 V to DC 750 V.
